WHO THIS IS FOR
For mothers trying to find the right support for a daughter in crisis.
What families and young adults say after working with Atalía
She has already been through therapy, psychiatry, or more than one attempt at getting help — or you are still trying to find the right person to trust.
What matters is this: your daughter is struggling in a way that feels too complex for generic support. She is anxious, withdrawn, restricting, hurting herself, shutting down, or simply no longer herself.
And beneath every appointment, opinion, and piece of advice, one question keeps returning: Is this the right kind of support for what she is actually going through?
This guide was written with one intention: to give you clarity.- If her current support has solid foundations, you deserve to recognize that.- If something important is missing, you deserve language for that too.
And if after reading this something clicks — there is a next step. No pressure, no commitment. Just clarity on whether this is the right fit for your daughter.
What this guide will help you see
1
The 7 core signs — plus one often-missed sign — that her current support may not be fully matched to what she needs.
SO THAT -
SO THAT -
SO THAT -
You can name what you’ve been sensing without turning your concern into panic.
2
Why anxiety, restriction, self-harm, or shutdown are signals — not the whole story.
You can stop blaming yourself, stop blaming her, and start looking deeper.
3
What deeper support actually looks like.
You can recognize when a crisis needs subconscious work, nervous-system repair, and family-system awareness.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Atalía Mar
Holistic Hypnotherapist · RTT® Practitioner · Sociologist
“I never set out to specialize in teenagers. They found me.And again and again, I saw something remarkable: when the right kind of support reaches them, young people can shift with a speed, honesty, and depth that adults often struggle to access.”
Atalía is a holistic hypnotherapist, RTT® Practitioner trained through Marisa Peer’s school, and sociologist from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Her work focuses on adolescents, young adults, and families navigating complex psycho-emotional crises — including anxiety, self-harm, eating distress, emotional shutdown, high sensitivity, and patterns that have not responded fully to surface-level support.
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, Atalía works with the deeper layers underneath them: subconscious patterns, the nervous system, emotional memory, and the family context surrounding the young person.
Depth requires space. Atalía accepts a very small number of families at a time. Orientation applications are personally reviewed within 5 business days.
